Kids Summer Stream - 2012 Malankara Juniors Hits again KIDS SUMMER STREAM 2012… in short KISS 2012. A sweet name kids repeat so often. A sweet name elder’s always keeps in their hearts. Kids Summer Stream program is the Catholic Vacation Bible School conducted for the Catholic children in Kuwait with the permission and blessings of His Excellency Bishop Camillo Ballin for the children from standard 4 and above. Malankara Liturgical School Team & KMRM managing committee managed to conduct similar program with the same theme – 2012 Year of Faith, as an extension of the main event which intends to bring every single child (Malankara Juniors KG to Standard 3) of the Malankara Catholic community to the main stream of the faith formation of the Catholic Church and to help our children to grow with Jesus. These two days were packed with enriching and refreshing programs. At the same time it would promote proper entertainment and joy for our young generation. Highlights of KIDS SUMMER STREAM program. KMRM Juniors Picnic 2012 05.05.2012 Saturday, 5th May 2012: KMRM Juniors picnic to the Kuwait Zoo was amazing. The get- together was organized by Baladeepam and Malankara Liturgical School Kuwait. Baladeepam members up to class 4 attended and enjoyed a lot. Round trip in the zoo by train brought joy and surprise to the little Malankarites and the group attracted the visitors throughout the picnic time. Animals and birds which several children had seen only in their text books really made them curious to watch and made them enthusiastic. It was very hard to make them move from one cage to another as they enjoyed the lively actions of the animals, especially of the monkeys. Few of them were searching the way to the cage of Tiger as it has not come out from the cage.
Picnic was leaded by Rev. Dr. John Padipurackal - Director, Mr. Rajan Thottathil -KMRM President, Mrs. Catherine Binu - Assistant Headmistress, Advocate Shibu Jacob - Baladeepam Animator and Malankara Liturgical School Teachers - Mr. Issac Kadakampallil, Mr. Liju Abraham, Mr. Thomas Mamoottil, Mr. Binu K. John, Mr. Shaji Varghese , Mr. Jimmy Abraham, Mrs. Bency Jacob, Mrs. Merija Shibu and Ms Princy G. Mathew. Congratulations to all the Baladeepam kids and organizers, for being the part of first picnic for the Malankara Kids in Kuwait, which will be marked in the History of KMRM. Maiden attempt by our Baladeepam and Liturgical School team, to conduct the picnic to the Junior Malankarites in Kuwait is come to true. MVBS Malankara Vacation Bible School Dear Parents and Children! May the grace of the Holy Spirit be with you! We are happy to inform you that we have arranged three days of Vacation Bible School (VBS) on 10, 11 and 12 June 2011 for our children. This is an occasion for our children to be more familiar with and know more profoundly the Word of God, our History and Liturgy. I advise children to make use of this opportunity for their spiritual enrichment and faith formation. A warm welcome to all the children! * The Holy Bible contains the written Word of God: it gives us life, nourishes us; guides us in our daily life; leads us to eternal life. * The History of the Church is the bearer of values of the Church: it enables us to carry forward to the future the richness of the tradition. * Liturgy is the articulation of the faith using cultural and art forms of a people. Faith is presented in a particular genius of the people. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chavadimuruppel (Biju Thoms), who is closely associated with the Vacation Bible School of the various Dioceses of the Malankara Catholic Church has kindly consented to guide our teachers in conducting the program. He will be spending time with the children, youth and our community these days for MVBS, Youth Seminar, Carrier Guidance Program and Community Gathering.
