Dr. Thomas Mar Anthonios arrived 16.09.2018 H.E. Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Anthonios arrived Kuwait on a short visit for celebrating the Fest of Nativity of Mother God. KMRM Welcomed the Bishop at Kuwait International Airport at 7.45am, on Friday, 7th September 2018.
Bishop's Meetings with Prayer Groups 16.09.2018 H.E. Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Anthonios met different prayer groups. On Friday 7th September 2018, St. Johns, St. Marys, Shalom an St. Thomas prayer groups met the Bishop at third basement of St. Daniel Comboni Parish. Mari Ivanios prayer group met the Bishop, on Tuesday 11th September 2018 after the Holy Qurbono at Dana Basement. St. Pauls prayer group met the Bishop at Renji Joseph house on Tuesday, 11th September 2018. Mary Matha prayer group met the Bishop on Monday 10th September 2018, after the Holy Qurbono. Friends of Mary, and MCYM also had meetings with the Bishop on Friday, 7th September 2018. Advisory Board met the Bishop on Friday, 7th September 2018. Bishop also met Nurses Ministry and a talk with Night Vigil Prayer at Salmiya Parish. Feast of Nativity of Mother of God 16.09.2018 Feast of Nativity of Mother God, celebrated at Holy Family Cathedral on Saturday 8th September 2018 by H.E. Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Anthonios, Bishop of Exarchate of St. Eprem, Khadki, India. 17 KMRM children received First Holy Communion from the Bishop on the same day.

KMRM Ivania-2018 2.09.2018 Ivania 2018 (Season 4) Quiz Competition concluded on Friday, 31st August 2018 at United Indian School, Abbasiya. The following teams, and their respective team managers participated in that event. Rev. Fr. Sheen Thankalyam (Parasala Diocese) was the Quiz Master. Ivania-2018 (Season 4) was arranged by Jubilee Ecumenical committee. A technical team of 13 members colored the event on a high profile, and event turned out to a big event. Camp Visit with Visiting Priest 23.08.2018 Jubilee-Spiritual Team arranged a Labour Camp visit on Wednesday 22nd August 2018, with the visiting priest Rev.Fr. James Elanjickal. Prayer Group cordinators, committee members, and executives were also attended this event. It was a warm experience in arranging such an event as part of silver jubilee celebration of KMRM.

KMRM Rosary Day 1.06.2018 Akhanda Japamala (Rosary Day) was conducted at City Cathedral on Thursday 31st May 2018 prior to Holy Qurbono. First time that we are conducting at City Church. Managing Committee thanked all those participated in the event.
Bethel-2018 concluded 09.04.2018 KMRM - Malankara Vacation Bible School (Bethel-2018) is concluded on 7th April 2018. Bethel-2018 was arranged at Kabd Training Center on 5, 6, and 7th April 2018. Rev. Fr. Robin Manakkalath (former Catechism director, Pathanamthitta Diocese), and Rev. Fr. Binoy Kochukarikkathil took the orientation classes. "Family, the house of the Lord" was the Theme of Bethel-2018. On concluding session, Sri. Rajan Mathew (President, KMRM), Sri. Vilavolsav-2018 & AmmaPakal-2018 13.05.2018 KMRM harvest festival for the year 2018, Vilavolsav-2018, and Friends of Mary(FOM) mother's day AmmaPakal-2018 was organized at Integrated Indian School, Kuwait on Friday, 11th May 2018. The event started with stall inauguration and flag hoisting around 11.00am, by Rev.Fr. Binoy Kochukarikakthil, and Rev.Fr. Jolly Karimbil. The vilavolsav-2018 committee as follows.

Procession Six Prayer groups participated in procession. St. Johns and Shalom prayer groups won the first prize, while remaining St. Mary's, St. Thomas, Mary Matha and Mar Ivanios won the participation prize in Procession. St. Johns prayer group presented the model of a bullock cart, while Shalom presented Shalom Snake Boat. Advisory Board members controlled the processions.

KMRM Silver Jubilee Inauguration 04.03.2018
Silver Jubilee Celebrations of KMRM is officially inaugurated by H.B. Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, Catholicos, the Head & Father of Syro Malankara Major Archiepiscopal Church on Friday 2nd March 2018 at Mar Divannasios Nagar (Integrated Indian School), Abbasiya.
The event began with Jubilee Exhibition. Seven prayer groups
participated and displayed the 7 periods of Syro Malankara
church History.
The public meeting started little late but was on a royal style. The Anchors, Sri. Jacob Mathew and Mrs. Juliee Joy welcomed the people to Dias. The event started with bible reading by Mebin V. Koshy, followed by prayer song by Divya Mary Thomas. The commander of the Jaleeb Al Shuwaikh, Col. Ebrahim AbdulRazaq Al Daei was the VIP guest. It is the first time that, such an officer visits KMRM events. Sri. Sunny Thomas welcomed the meeting, Sri. Rajan Mathew gave the presidential address followed with introductory speech by Rev. Fr. Binoy Kochukarikkathil (Spiritual Director). The priests and the officials from different associations honored the Cardinal. H.B. Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, the Head & Father of the Syro Malankara Major Archiepiscopal Church inaugurated the yearlong Jubilee Celebration. The traditional light (Nilavilakku) was lightened by the delegates on the Dias. Apostolic Nuncio Abp. Francissco Padila gave the Benedictory Speech. Cardinal released Balloons (three balloons tied together), and Apostolic Nuncio and Vicar General released Doves. It was first time in history, KMRM is doing such an event in royal style. Twenty Five, former presidents, Advisory Board Chairmen, General Secretaries, and Treasurer who are present in Kuwait lighted twenty five candles added more colors to the Jubilee Inauguration. The five foundation members who are available in Kuwait was honored by Catholica Bava. They are (1) Binu K. John, (2) Kuruvilla Thomas, (3) Rajan Thottathil, (4) Laly Paul (due to other assignment could not make out), and (5) Joseph K. Daniel.
The Catholica Bava officially announced the Santhawna Charity
Projects, and renamed YuvaJyothi to MCYM. Sri. K.O. John gave
the inaugural Santhwana fund to Bava, and officially announced
the projects, and handed over the cheque to Sri. O.M Mathew (Santhwana
Convener). Sri O.M. Mathew narrated the Santhawana Charity
projects. The following people gave the Felicitation Speech.
Sri. George Luey Powath (KMRM-Treasurer) gave the vote of
Thanks. The public function was ended with KMRM Anthem. A large
crowd witnessed the Jubilee inauguration function. The seven
prayer groups participated the Christian Devotional Song
competition.
The main attraction of the event was the drama presented by Friends of Mary. The big LCD screen (6x3Meter) and the drama mixed well, and it received the full crowd attraction. A trophy was presented to friends of Mary. By 3.00pm the event concluded, and a big applause to those who attended the event. Felicitation Video message by Rev.Fr. George Kottapuram (First Syro Malankara Priest) and felicitation Video message by Rev. Dr. John Padipurackal (Second Syro Malankara Priest) are showcased in the event. Memento to Judges, Managing Committee, and Prayer Coordinators were distributed during the event. Sri. Sammon A.O. coordinated the Silver Jubilee inauguration function as General Convener. Good Friday Service 2018 2.04.2018 Good Friday Service was conducted on Friday, 30th March 2018 at Carmel School Khaithan, and Rev. Fr. Binoy Kochukarikkathil was the main celebrant. Bp. Camillo Ballin visited in between, and gave the Good Friday message. Rev. Fr. Paul also visited in between and gave the message.
Maundy Thursday Service 2018 2.04.2018 Maundy Thursday service was celebrated on Thursday 29th March 2018 at City Cathedral Church by Rev. Fr. Binoy Kochikarikkathil. Pesaha Appam was distributed thereafter.

Once in Malta, he served as the Superior of the
Monastery, Master of Novices, and finally as the Provincial
Superior of Maltese Discalced Carmelite Province. From 1979 to
1981, he was rector of the Carmelite International College in
Rome. He was consecrated as Bishop by Pope John Paul II on 6
January, 1982 at the Vatican. His most noteworthy endeavor was his choice to remain in Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion to offer guidance and consolation to the people, an act which earned him great respect from the rulers and locals. Bishop Francis entered retirement on 14 July, 2005 and moved to his native Malta, where he passed away. Ordinary people whose lives were touched by the bishop joined parishioners in praying for the soul of Bishop Micallef. Sweet of Santa 08.12.2017 Sweet of Santa 2017 - Christmas cake sales inaugurated by Rev.Fr. Binoy Kochuakrikekathil after the Holy Mass on 7th December 2017. Sweet of Santa is a Christmas cake sale program, and revenues from this program will be shared for Charity. Rev. Fr. Binoy received two types of cakes from Yuvajyothi program convener Mr.Joseph Sebastain, blessed, and handed over for sales. First sales were given to KMRM Vice President Mr.O.M Mathew, and the other to KMRM Working Secretary Mr. Aby Palamoottil. Mr. Lince John sequenced the event, thanked all and requested support from all KMRM members. General Secretary Mr. Sunny Thomas, Treasurer Mr. George Luey Powath, and President Mr. Rajan Mathew were present at that function.

George Adeodatus Micallef, the former Apostolic Vicar of Kuwait,
who retired to his native country Malta, passed away on 3
January, 2018. Francis Adeodatus Micallef was born to parents
George and Marianna at Birkirkara, Malta on 17 December, 1928.
He was ordained as a priest on 9 May, 1954 and after attaining
his Master's in Theology, he returned to Malta where he taught
moral theology.
