KMRM Directory 2009 Released 14.10.09.

 The Directory will be at your house during this week. The main attraction is the list of all KMRM members. The directory includes last minute updates, including a new born. The same will be available under the members link, in this web site. We intend to open the login page, so that the member can see/update his profile. The member can change/add photos. The member will be have a login, and password, using which he/she can login. Details will be provided later.

Dear KMRM Members,
During the committee, 2008-2009, the KMRM web site hits was around [23000-2000] 21000 hits. That means, average 100 visitors per day. This is not bad. We have managed the site with instant updates, flash news, SMS coverage, email broadcasting, message box, opinion polls, and the complete database of all KMRM members. The database includes, profile of respective members, photo, group photo, church related photos etc. We intend to open up the on-line profile updates, but delayed due to time factor. Also, intend for the forum, but could not compete. But, within the time frame we accomplished many tasks. We appreciate your kindness to visit us on a regular basis. We hope that the site could deliver, what it was intended.

Sri. Aji John (24 yrs) passed away. Sri. Aji John, a relative of Sri. Babuji Bathery [ T016 ](Thomas P.S.-Sector 2, Abbasiya). Babuji's sister, Ponnamma John is the mother of Sri. Aji. Sri. Aji killed in a Bike Accident at Nilgiris.

Funeral is on Wednesday (07.10.09) at 10.00am.

Sri K. V. John (60 years) passed away today (03.10.09). Sri. K. V. John is the elder brother of Sri. K.V. Paul, KMRM Memeber [ K002 ].

Sri K.V. John, an ex-staff of B.K.M.E, is the grandson of Sri Killelethu Chackochen. KMRM express condolence, and join with the family for their prayer of the departed Soul.

His Grace Dr. Thomas Mar Koorilos, Metropolitan Arch bishop of Thiruvalla, arrived in Kuwait at 08.28am, today, 07.09.09. KMRM Spiritual director, Rev. Fr. KMRM celebrated the family get together at Indian community school, Khaitan, Kuwait, on 09.01.09. The function, began with kids fancy dress, public function, variety entertainment, and finally, farewell to Rev. Fr. Isaac Kocherry.  Rev. Fr. Thomas vadakedam, inaugurated the function. Malankara Cathedral Declared Basilica 11.11.08 Senior Vatican official Cardinal Leonardo Sandri declared Malankara Church’s St. Mary’s Cathedral in Kerala a Basilica. Cardinal Sandri, prefect of the Vatican congregation for Oriental Churches, read out the papal declaration on Tuesday inside St. Mary’s, the cathedral of Syro Malankara Rite in state capital Thiruvananthapuram.

The bishops of all six diocese of the Church were present at the function. The Church is a faction came to the Catholic fold in 1930. The declaration was made during a reception accorded to the cardinal by the Syro Malankara Church. [More]
