The 77th anniversary of the Re-Union Movement of Syro-Malankara Catholic Church is celebrated on 19, 20, 21 September 2007, in Bathery Diocese at Kodancherry, Kozhikode.

On 20 September, 2007, Thursday, Malankara Catholic Association (MCA) celebrated its 11th convention at St. Mary's Auditorium, Kodancherry, Kozhikode (Mar Athanasios Nagar). The convention was inaugurated by Major Archbishop Moran Mor Baselios Cleemis Catholicos and it was blessed by Most Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Divannasios with his holy speech.

Kuwait Malankara Rite Movement (KMRM) used this occasion to confer an educational award in the name of Late Catholicos Moran Mor Dr. Cyril Mar Baselios titled as Mar Baselios Vidhya Sree Puraskaram to honor 6 students from Malankara Catholic Community (one from each diocese) for their outstanding performance in S.S.L.C. examination (Kerala Syllabus). Most Rev. Dr. Joshua Mar Ignathios, Bishop of Mavelikara distributed the awards (memento and cash prize) to Justin Raju, Limji Mol, Jeneena Babu, Priya K., Smith Geo Scarian and Linta Kuriakose, who were selected by M.C.A. central committee. KMRM President Mr. Jacob Thomas and General Secretary            Mr. Thomas P.S. were the special invitees in the meeting. In his felicitation Mr. Jacob Thomas expressed KMRM's gratitude to MCA and appreciation to the award winners.
