The Holy Father Pope John Paul II made
his canonical provision for the establishment of the Eparchy of
Muvattupuzha on 15 January 2003 by bifurcating Thiruvalla Diocese,
and His Excellency Most Rev. Thomas Mar Koorilos was appointed as
its first Bishop. |
