The first memorial day of Moran Mor Cyril Mar Baselios, Late Catholicos of Malankara Catholic Church, and ecumenical prayer day was conducted by KMRM on 2 February, 2008 at United Indian School, Abbassiya. Priests presiding various denomination of churches were present and rendered their messages in respect of Late Catholicos and the importance of ecumenism among churches. Rev. Fr. Thomas Vadakkedath, Spiritual Director inaugurated the function and delivered the message of memorial day. The function was presided by K.O. John, President, and Binu K. John, Secretary welcomed the gathering.

The function was very live with the sincere participation of KMRM members.
